Welcome to the 35th Annual South Coast Golf Tour – where pars, birdies, and a few "freshies" come together for an unforgettable week of golf, camaraderie, and the occasional friendly banter.

TOUR RULES AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Format & Scoring
We’re playing an Individual Points Stableford (IPS) format. Points are tallied daily, with the first day’s draw setting the stage. Every subsequent day, players are seeded according to the previous day’s performance.
Come the final round, your cumulative points over the previous five games determine your starting order. (No pressure—just another reason to smile when you score high!)
This year we will be capturing our scores into an app called Squabbit (21st century stuff).
After every hole the score is entered by the nominated player for each 4-ball and verified by another player.

Handicap & HNA Card
Each player will play from their club HNA handicap. A quick swipe of your HNA card before tee-off is a must at every course, and don’t forget to enter your score once your round is done. The HNA system works its magic daily to adjust your handicap—so try not to let it see you flounder!
Local & Competition Rules
Follow the local rules at each course, with one exception: there’s a club length placing on all fairway shots in play. And remember, as this is a competition, the usual S.A.G.A. rules apply (yes, that means no giving of putts—even if you really, really want to help your friend!).
Everyone, regardless of handicap or gender, competes in the same division. Fair play, fair fun!
Be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tee-off. And remember: if you miss your game without notice, you won’t be eligible for next year’s tour—so set your alarms!
In the event of a tie after six rounds, the title goes to the player with the lowest Handicap Index. May the best (and most consistent) golfer win!
SOCIAL & PRIZE DETAILS
Meet & Greet
We’ll kick things off with a casual “meet and greet” on Saturday from 16:30 at Margate Country Club. This will be a Bring & Braai - there will be pap & sauce catered by Margate Country Club. (Note: Drinks are on your own tab—but hey, that just means you can treat yourself to an extra cocktail!)
Final Day & Prize Giving
The tour wraps up with our final game at Port Shepstone. Prize giving will be held directly after the game at the golf club. We'lll be having a nice curry and rice for lunch provided by Sheppies.
Cost Per Player
We managed to keep the cost of this year similar to last year's price of R 3 455.00.
Covered Fees: All playing fees, including green fees, golf carts, daily prizes for the Top 3 players (plus overall tour prizes for the Top 3) and catering for our meet greet and final day prize-giving.
Not Included: Halfway house food & beverages, caddy fees, spotters, and tips.
